Your duties will vary depending on the property, but as a concierge security guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the residents and the property, monitoring security systems, greeting residents and guests, handling parcels, enforcing building rules, and responding to emergencies. Specific expectations are detailed in the post order book at the concierge desk.

The post order book is available at the concierge desk on-site. It contains all the specific building procedures, rules, and guidelines for overseeing the security of the property. Be sure to familiarize yourself with the contents to ensure you meet the property’s expectations.

In case of an emergency, immediately contact your Area Manager during business hours, or reach out to the dispatcher during evenings, overnights, and weekends. If the issue requires field support, our Field Support Supervisors will be dispatched to assist you.

All incidents must be documented in an incident report. These reports should be submitted to your Site Supervisor and Area Manager, following the procedures outlined in the post order book. This ensures that all issues are handled appropriately and resolved in a timely manner.

Breaks are scheduled according to the property's shift structure and operational needs. If you need to take a break during your shift, please follow the guidelines in the post order book and notify your supervisor to ensure coverage.

Politely remind the individual of the rules outlined in the post order book. If necessary, escalate the issue to the Site Supervisor or Area Manager for further assistance. Always approach the situation professionally and calmly, as part of your concierge training.

Time-off requests or any scheduling issues should be directed to your Area Manager or Scheduler Assistant. Be sure to give adequate notice, especially for planned time off, to ensure that coverage is in place.

If you are ever uncertain about how to handle a situation, you should immediately contact your Area Manager during business hours. If outside of business hours, reach out to our dispatcher for guidance. We are here to support you.

Immediately report the issue to your supervisor and document the situation in an incident report. Depending on the severity, additional security protocols may be activated, and field support may be dispatched to assess the situation further.

Continuous learning and attention to detail are key. Attend any scheduled training sessions, seek feedback from your supervisors, and familiarize yourself with both the property-specific post orders and company-wide security standards. Additionally, use KPIs to gauge your performance, including client satisfaction and adherence to security protocols.
